service station rip off's

Post by chav666 »

Don't know if anyons had any similar experiences - but I just lost around 140 quid on a pulsation in the M1 services. That's not what i am really bothered about though - i didn't know what the fuck was doing and deserved to get raped!! What was really strange was that every machine had huge pause before spinning the reels - sometimes of around 4 seconds. I have seen this in other services too. All the machines were on 70% too.

Can anyone shed any light on these pauses?????

That's the one - although BB gave me a nice £80 streak for £15 in. Which part funded my pulsation nightmare! lol.

You must have had a few tops in between on Pulsation.... was it showing from the off or did you just try for a force anyway :? :

Wasn't playing at all at first. Stck £15 or so in with nothing before going onto Bullion. Went back on after Bullion to try and recoup. Got 2 tops in all that time - flat £25 and a £30. Shouldn't have played it as I don't know the features, and it is truly a shit machine to force - especially with the £10 red sevens!!

The price of boredom!

never say never buddy! I was once like you - "no more than X pounds".
The problem is X increases over the years. I've been playing now for 17 years and X is now £600 in a day. ( I once blew £8k in 5 weeks on roulette). Like any addiction - gambling slowly creeps up on you - so, don't look down on me - you could be in the same situation in future???!!

I gamble coz I enjoy playing - i used to play for profit in a semi-professional way - but I would just get bored waiting. Good players have lots of patience - That aint me! I LOVE the buzz - win or lose!

I'd never play in a service station out of the fact that I know they are so well covered by 'pro' types.

I'll stick to pubs and around once a month try out an arcade which has a great selection of machines.

A pulsation should 'never' take that sort of money without some sort of substatial win, providing you were playing it reasonably sensibly! ;)

Depends how you were playing? if taking stuff and recycling it could gobble all day.

I once watched a guy for 3 hours put £140 thro a legal tender, just incosistantly collecting wins. Went on it, 50 in 55 out. Left it due to mass sweatiness.
