Spend some of your machine money on proper legal advice (couple of hundred for a simple situation like this) if it bothers you.

Nothing worse than legal advice from non-lawyers.
"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

Write to the companies "data controller" and ask for any information they might have on you. Then again, you will be supplying more detail than they already have.
As above, get expert advice.

could moan and say they are holding a pic of you without your consent (you didnt let them take it. was done without your knowledge, etc). although at the end of the day they can bar whoever they like for whatever reason, so i think the damage is done and theres not that much you can do about it, as theyve seen your face now regardless.

Nothing you can do, it's also not illegal to have a photo of someone in a public either. Maybe ring DP to confirm they sent out a letter/photo, because IMHO it sounds like another local player has attempted to stitch you up. Why would a manu send the picture out? It's not like they own the pubs and know that it's you, unless they've had a lot of complaints or something.

Unless the letter is accusing you of something you don't really have anything.
