Bad players
Why do players who have lost all there money on roulette/bookies ect called by most others bad players/wasters.
My dad is a lorry driver and very good at his job but if he lost all his wage each week in the casino would that make him bad at his job? no.
So why do you get tarred with the bad player brush if you have lost all you money earnt from fruits?

I had a great day yesterday, earnt just over £400.
Then for the first time ever(despite the usual, they're all right mate, you shouldn't lose if u stick with it) I wandered into a Corals.
Found a KBR on £467 and thought I'd give it a go. £1100 later and at closing I'm now having to go back for doors with my last bag or so.
It's funny really because I just knew this would happen. I've avoided the temptation so far, but with the stories I've heard I thought even if I drop the profit I can say I've given it a 'whirl' to say I felt sick was an understatement.
I landed it 3 times, 2 minimums and a X40.
Cheers. Better go, they open at 9.
First time I've ever walked out of a bookies thinking why didn't I try the RR pog with decent pots?

How may spins do you reckon you had and what was the longest run without a keybet? When dealing with random events simply having postitive EV never guarentees anything as any poker player will tell you. And when all the value is concentrated in a single difficult to get prize rather like a roll-over lottery jackpot a disaster like you have had is always a possibility.
It would mean you were a compulsive gambler. If no one other than yourself suffers then it is really no one elses business. But in many cases it is the families/children etc of these 'wasters' that do the suffering.thecannonball89 wrote:Why do players who have lost all there money on roulette/bookies ect called by most others bad players/wasters.

That's why I've avoided them so long mate despite being aware of them since they got released.
Just had it out off about a ton.
It took me up to about 300 odd before I landed the first one, think it was on about 50 odd when I first played it. The next one was about 220 and the next close to 300 again. I got it twice within about 15 this morning.
Doubled up twice on £50 black jack bets as I was leaving and left it with just over £600 from roughly a ton in.
Still a silly £600 to throw away. I still find it hard to believe people are sitting on these non stop and making.
I certainly won't bother again.

456/1 isn't it? These things are nothing more than a clever ruse to get people playing roulette.
It's pure luck and nothing else. A mate of mine got one FIRST press the other day. Not content with this ridiculous piece of luck, he then got another for a tenner, and a third for £60. None of them looked likely to be worth it either.
Sounded easy, so I tried a £20. First press 0, second press 0. Receipt for a tenner please.
The only time I actually played one I wasted 5 hours for even money. This now seems like a cracking result. And why is it people with questionable hygiene standards and bad breath have to stand so close when they watch you on this? A co-joined twin couldn't have got closer.

never played one ,,,,,,,,, but martin found a 459 yesterday .
we contemplated going halves on it today ,,,,,,,,, and even rang kieran and jordan for some examples of make/loss scenarios ,,,,,,,,,,,,, both had similar tales ,,,,,,,, ranging from stories of 400 up ,,, to 2400 down without getting it etc . ,,,,,,,, you could get it straight away ,,,,,,,, you could lose a bag etc.
at the end of the day , we decided we dont like '' could '' and '' maybe'' etc ,,,,,we didn't like the odds ,,,,,,,,,,,,, its an out n out gamble ,,,,,,,,,, so we thought better of it and carried on slotting.
made 128 each by 4pm ,,,,,,, went home

I've never played KBR, and don't intend to.
It's just roulette dressed up as agame which can be won on, a poor mans Lucky 8 if you like. People used to say to me how William Hill 'fucked' up by creating Lucky 8, because it earned people a lot of money. What they didn't consider was that alot of those people were existing customers and Hills eventually got most of that money back. Also the people for whom lucky 8 was their introduction to bookmakers and roulette, well its fair to say that in some cases William Hill continue to enjoy their custom. A good friend of mine who had never frequented bookies before lucky 8, and made a respectable amount of money from it, now visits betting shops almost daily to play roulette.
