You don't think that the developers that allowed such an exploit would shit themselves and test every other game for aforementioned exploit once it was revealed to them?

Agreed, some empties come around again years later, snake rattle n roll being an example i remember someone saying?

Sometimes they use some of the same 'code' on a different machine, bit of a shortcut rather than writing a whole new program. They also reuse the same cabinets over and over, a re glass and a little touch up is far more financially viable.

I'm not going to go into the full details on here, I doubt it will work but if its cheap to test it and there's a 1% chance that it would work then I don't mind losing trying it, no one I've spoke even know the glitch existed, I didn't get on it and I doubt
many did, I've only mentioned it as the game is now off
