These kind of games worked very well on £15 and £25 jackpots but they would be fucking dreadful on £70, no matter how creative you are with the design. They'll block at £10 or £20 for an age because you can drive a bus through the gap between the jackpot and the next win down. You'd have 2 approaches -jeffvickers wrote:I would love to see more Winstepper/Red Gaming/Temple of Treasure/Barcrest/Arabian Nights/Big Brother tried out on £70.
Nearest we got to that was Psycho Cash Beast 2. Sceptre still have a few of these flying around in the North West and they are pretty easy to read.
a) Appeal to the clever player and allow for an occasional early nick on a jackpot, which puts the machine behind and fucks normal punters off (and in turn pub landlords and so on), or
b) Make sure the game definitely has the money before it gives it away, resulting in a boring, predictable and flat-as-a-witches-tit game with progressive blocks, that takes ages to force out for no profit. Nothing here for 'players' and not really a great deal there for normal punters as the jackpot is not attainable from loose change unless a flash comes along from a saved pot.
The jackpot value is too high and makes for a shit game that is not enjoyable to play, nor does it make the normal punter feel that they have a chance of winning. Lapsed players will not be tempted back for this kind of shit.
