hi im ned,im 42 (very senior !)i use to play fruits in what they now seem to term the "golden age" which was 1979 to 1985.mainly use to go for the barcrest mpu 2/3&4machines although jpm and bell fruit both put in some fine playing machines as well (frog hop / road runner / fire cracker / nudge gamble /)after i got bored of playing the £3-£4 machines i started working full time on the railway which introduced me to club versions of some of those classics including royal exchange and crackpot with a jp of £100 . gradually my interest wained as these machines manufacturers in my opinion started to get greedy with payout s and taking away a certain genuine skill which made the 80 s machine s club or otherwise a pleasure to play .i always played em for fun and was never addicted although plenty of times i would lose all of my pocket money on them -ah they were the days !just got back into looking at some of those classics again recently on youtube and would now consider buying one or two of them if they were to come on the market . im keeping an eye on ebay but is there anywhere else i might get lucky as i know some of these slots are rare .

Used to enjoy playing Crackpot when I was young. All Barcrest games of that era were great, and Club Attraction by BFM.

Hi I'm James, I've always loved to play fruits and particularly Deal Or No Deals. I've learnt to spot the £4 and £5 boxes, but I know there is more to all these games. I only really get to play at evenings and weekends, but I've had a few decent wins and I always watch the people that win big to see if I can catch on to what they're doing! If anyone can offer me any help... appreciated!

hi guys, just thought i'd introduce myself, my names george, im (gettin on a bit now) years of age;-). and have been playin the fruits since i was 16.i work full time, play part time for pocket money now.i missed the £25/£35 era due to my ( now ex ex) mrs who gave me THE ultimatum!!, never really gave it up though.for enjoyment and profit i found the £6,£10 and £15 era,s the best.like i said, i do still play now,but find nothing will compare to the amazing times i used to have!!.its great to find yet another good forum on the internet.
