i,ve been told about a battery being charge in fruit machines is this true..?

Whoever has said that will likely be refering to the small battery present on the motherboard, just as in all computers.
Without this it wouldn't "remember" settings and that sort of thing.

How often dose a car battery need charging?

I haven't got a clue about the inside of a fruit machine, but common sence tells me it charges when the machine is on.

If the battery is low,when machine is turned off for a while it will come on with ram clear reels normally the 3 dots or joins or in older cases eg jpm 3 red bars,this is something more found in arcades...
