Cashpots

Why are cashpots free? When clearly the machine knows what the pot is on?

They're partly free. As when a cashpot is reset it goes back to £20.00. Money is then added to the cashpot and accounted for on a spin by spin basis.

As the £20 reset amount is not accrued from %age taken from credits, its just a reset.

The additions to that reset amounts are took gradually as a %age of each £1 put in. If the cashpot is near the reset, because fuck all of the money is took from credit cycle %age it's not free...

There u go!

Possibly for credit breaks ? I seem to have had more £80ish MS's on units with a £70 pot I've not bothered with were as a mid £50 pot I've had along the way almost always ends with a bog standard £70 MS at the end.

people day that the reset value isnt free, i feel differently to an extent.
fair enough if you take a empty cashpot of say £20.20p the machine go's ringo star as only the 20p is free.
but why when you get a £70 cashpot does it seem all free ?
if you take the £20.20p cashpot it kills the machine for ages as the £20 reset isnt free, but when you take the £70 cashpot it doesnt kill the machine seeming like the £20 reset is free.

Presumably when you take a £20.20 cp the previous £20 hasn't set it back too badly but this new £20 does as it's now essentially paid out £40.

As for if it's full I have a few theories...

a) puts info a spare cp bank which it uses for the seed money so you can potentially get 100% free cps (this is how i would do it)

b) just goes towards main %

c) used for gatws/ms

d) cynical view time - the money is wasted and taken by the machine

Maybe when cp is 70 the extra value where the cp hasn't gone up because it is 70 brings it back quicker?

Although saying that there is one where 70cp does seem to set it back 10-15.

overflow tops up the refill amount, or a cp that says 27 has taken 19 from the current. just coz it goes up incrementally doesn't mean it's being taken at the same rate.
