£70's versus club machines

Post by Marcossvon »

There used to be a hardcore community of players doing the club circuit "making" on the £200's/£250's. Since 70's have come in, have they swooped their circuit? I don't seem to see as many in the clubs I sometimes frequent.

Clubs are folding like pubs. Our social club is two years off of closing after 65 profitable years and 2 loss making ones. Smoking ban, excessive duties and VAT have killed it off. £1.90 a pint a year ago, now £2.50. Ours is a member of the Railway Association. Never seen a pro player in there in over 20 years.
Roulette free since December 2011.

Not quite as long round here. There was a very popular £250 that attracted the same guy to our place. Somehow managed to prise out a 2nd jacky after the first. Saw him in a couple of places up until a couple of years back.
