I used to be a top boy in my high school. Everytime they had new vending machines in the school I used to work out methods were it would empty all the food and drink out!! When their was only ready salted crisps in the food one and pure orange with bits in the drink one, I would chuck the info out to a few of the guys for a pack of smokes, but the headmaster would always get suspicious because they would all rush to them and empty it all in one foul swoop instead of picking at them a little at a time, and as sure as the sun would rise, the machines would be switched off the very next morning. They never did learn.

I met a guy in a nightclub in Leeds last year,we got talking about gambling and he reckoned he payed the top boys a lot of money,i didn't believe him but then he got his phone out. He had several pictures of 3 suitcases full and i mean overflowing with coins.

Yeah, I used to show the lads in school pictures of suitcases full of crisps, snickers, twix, cans of coke, cans of fanta, you name it, I had it. Cocky the teachers nicknamed me. 8)

Stevie S - your posts about the vending machine made me LOL :-) I didn't have an "emptier" as such, but what I used to do was insert a 5 centimes coin (French 5p) and it would register as 20p. This was going back 20-odd years to 1991 when most snacks were 20p, so I was getting them for 1/4 the price :D I did it 10-20 times as long as I had the coins, then it got 'chipped' out about a year later. Same machine though!

i could take a photo of about £2000 in £1s when we empty the cubbers at work... photoshop it so it looks like £200,000, then you can show them that next time you see them?

with the right expertise(sp) it shouldn't be too hard to figure out faults from any given machines roms

stumble across a couple things myself always by accident

If there is so called "top boys" would they bother with a max £350 hopper when theres bigger and maybe quicker gains to be had with b3's.....why is it rare to get an edge on a b3/section 16 but to get an edge with a cat c is a common accurance?

and as for sw/rr i was in the understanding it was left in at £35 by mistake barcrest new they was capable of shuffling. got through test and the rest is history - on that note found my first chipped £35 the other day superholds on 50p but still shuffles just shuffles any random reels (its a gamestec by the way)

Do you need 50p's to do the 35s? I have one in local night club me and mate have been talking about it for a while now since they changed our old dig it.

No**

EDIT - Not necessarily, but yes would have been a better answer. If you play it with £1s then you have a 50/50 chance of it going wrong.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before. I had 3 still on £35 when I found out about it, and none of them worked.

You cant play them on a £1, so yes you would need them, but I've never heard of a worker.

I can tell you where to find a £35 worker, its probably on reset right now! You can play it with quids as well, just put the 25p in first.

We checked to see if the light went out and it does. This means 70s work but I havn't a clue on £35's. Aahh there is only 2 stakes 25 or 30 and 50.
