Deal Or No Deal Machine

Post by Baldy Locks »

Hello all...nice to be here...hopefully you can help me regarding questions about this machine...

I won the cashpot yesterday but was disappointed when the new cashpot lit up it still displayed £250 instead of a lower figure...Yes I have checked the dil switches and they seem ok...

Inside the machine has the settings for the dil switches but they don't seem to coincide with the working of the machine...The manual seems more correct but there aren't many settings...

I use the machine to save money so it has a note changer...When I switched the machine off and back on again it retained credit...I know there is (or perhaps not) a dil switch for this but it doesn't seem to work...Is there a battery on the board which saves the settings?

I probably don't think this is the case as some dil switches work correctly as what is written in the manual...I didn't really want all that lark of feeding the £250 back in the machine although it has been done now...

Jackpot frequency...was at a guess set to low before so I have just changed it...what is the best % payout to set so I win the jackpot more often?

The last machine I had took me two years to win the jackpot but I was disappointed as with this one to see the replacement cashpot also at £250...

What is the best machine with notechanger?

Thanks for your help...

DIL (Dual In-Line package) and DIP (Dual In-line Package) are the same thing.

I think there may be different software packages for these? Different versions of Cops n Robbers do different things with cashpots....some keep them at the max whatever goes, whereas others wipe them back down to £0 once they've been taken out. I'm no expert though, awaiting expert replies..

Yeah that was before it paid out...

I must have the DIL switches set wrong
as it now locks me out while playing and
wont let me put more money in till the
end of the spin.Never did that before.

Both pots were on 250 quid before it paid out
...When it paid out the reserve automatically
went to 250 again which is not what I wanted
.I have seen other machines where it builds up.
Need to win the blasted cashpot again to see
what happens next time. Most of the DIL switches
do nothing although there is a different list in the
machine...a green label with it on but it does not
seem to correspond.

Cops & Robbers offered two versions (IIRC). The original had pots and reserves that built up over time, and the later versions had static pots (ie JP value).

This machine has been so buzzed up so much that it is offering cashpots off nudges, so is probably still under percentage anyway.

I don't know what you mean by buzzed up...
That was the first time it has given me the
cashpot off of nudges although how much
I put in I dont know but it must be at least
double the prize.Im still disappointed with
it's behaviour after winning the cashpot
especially as there is a DIL switch associated
with either fixed cashpots or the opposite.I
wondered whether the fact it went straight back
to £250 was due to the fact I put so much money in?

Today it gave me £6 or £250 on the DOND game
and I won £6 yuck.

I just tried to get the drift of what buzzed up means...
I have been playing it for ages trying not to win
(as it keeps offering low wins) so I
would get the jackpot so if that's what you mean you
would probably be right.

I'm not sure about newer bellfruit machines with cashpots but on the older versions there was a setting to either have constant £250 cashpots or gradual climbing ones once they've been had out. But some programs I believe over ride dip settings anyway.

Ur right with ur version of what buzzed up means. I've not played this particular version of dond but I'm sure it's like the typical bellfruit club of old with the cashpots.

They'll be a block on wins above £50 or £75 until enough cash/credits have been played thru. Then it will unblock usually awarding nudges for cashpots if u look for the set ups or on the dond game itself.

Once it's awarded the win its back to blocking again, but it should be pretty happy win wise but no more jackpots until the above is repeated.

I think it's about £1000-£1200 of straight force on a £250 and about £500-600 on a £75 jackpot. The machine makes it's %age up thru afterplay and people recycling wins after such forces.

Thanks for you info about understanding the machine more.
Must admit im disappointed about the cashpot thingy...
seems pointless to me if it just goes straight to 250 quid
but I need to win it again.Perhaps one day I will get the perfect machine...
Still at this rate it may be a hero for me and allow me
to fund a holiday in November. The note changer is diamond.

Well whatever it is it didn't wok last time..

If the manual is right it should work as the
machine seems to work to the manual not
the list which is in the machine. There doesn't
seem to be many dil switches that seem to
work though.I got just over £500 out of the note
thingy.

You could always try e-mailing/calling bell fruit?

Once all the employees have done their daily crack off to the life size Noel in the office I'm sure one of them will get back 2 u.
