"Some total idiots around"

Too right. If you're a junkie going to ask/beg/threaten me for money, don't do it when there are section 16 machines around, you know where your heads going to end up!

I like to keep an eye out for new faces. I recognise the local chav life, but it's the random junkies and the odd few borderline cases you have to watch.

Had a £60 bank in a Yabba the other day, this guy was hovering. I could see he was tempted. I'm also pretty certain he was on heroin. He started banging the machine next to mine, about to start the old 'this machine ain't paid out!' routine. He called the staff over and I instantly explained that he hadn't won anything and had only put in about 10p and that he was acting very strange. Just don't take no shit, don't start no fights or raise your voice, but remain assertive and make it 100% perfectly clear that you will not get fucked over by a drug addict. Also inform staff of any suspicious behaviour or 'dodgy' customers.

Unlucky if you get jumped in a kebaby! I've played in a few myself - to be honest I'm more worried about being jumped by the owners than random dicks off the street - very rarely worth it.

Not surprised it happened in London. Crime wave in the offing. Isn't it about time they legalised drugs and accepted that the law cannot be effectively enforced in this area?

For Gawd sake, sad when you get mugged for a £25 jackpot.

it was more the embarassment than anything else. £40 isn't going to matter a jot to me long term but you'd rather lose cash via your own bad judgement than have it nicked. I was slightly pissed tbh, i can usually spot the difference between begging & more menacing overtones & get out of the situation with an adrenaline-boosted quick sprint
Hehe reminded me of being back at school (happy memories  )
