There is a guy on ebay selling a complete rodding kit, surely ebay don't allow this kind of thing?
Do these look real or is this guy a fake?

This kit was purchased from Mr Watts' site (see the pictures & info provided), so on that basis alone, it's likely to be completely useless.
Also you should ask yourself certain questions with stuff like this, predominantly why is the guy selling it? He obviously knows what it's for, so it's fair to assume that in buying it himself he intended to defraud some machines. I find it unlikely that a person with these intentions would just jack the whole exercise in purely because his own machine wasn't working to enable him to test it. The more likely scenario is that he did test it, and it simply didn't work, thus he wants to sell it on to minimise his loss. Private feedback doesn't exactly fill you with confidence either.
In summary, it probably won't work, and is thoroughly illegal to boot.

Yeah i agree, there was a post on here last week about an s16 ebook, and this was the guy selling it for £10 a throw!
I bought it just to see what it was like and i'll get my refund from paypal tomorrow as he hasn't replied to me in 10 days!
So i think this is where his bad feedback has come from...
I'm not considering buying the rodding kit but i'm very curious as i've never seen one...

I think this manages to neatly sit in on of the grey areas that so often plague our laws. As far as I'm aware it's comparable to buying a police radar jammer or scanner radio: perfectly legal to buy but wholly illegal to use (unless you can argue that it was to use on your own machine - which, let's face it, is a poor excuse).
Still kicking about.
