I visited my local bowling alley today, mainly to play the Indy Skulls and remind myself what a Hi/Lo looks like - only to find changes have been made - and the current 5 machines are these critters:

- DOND Gold
- DOND Big Reds
- DOND Walk of Wealth
- DOND It's Your Show
- DOND Crazy Chair

What superb variety! :x

Was playing on LP last night and got myself a GATW. took my top row shots and had 2 left: Jackpot (red) and MS (white). I decided to take the MS which gave me a flat £70. Should I have taken the red jackpot instead?

Also, it occured to me after I could have maybe carried on around the board to try and land on extra zone to hi/lo the top zone red. Would that have worked or was I just destined the flat £70 from this spin no matter what I did?

Not that it would've mattered much but you should have hi-lo'd the extra zone square to turn MS red, if it was an onboard IM then it would either have went flat or went on for an etra 10-20 quid, never seen a full repeat from an onboard IM.

I have had GATW on this before.

It did'nt do it from the off, I turned the three phones red.

It did the £70, and rolled in another £70.

Glad the pub was busy/noisy that afternoon.

Had a similar scenario last night. Took a shot at the top row, skill stopped it onto a white MS. Carried on around the board. Got my third phone for a GATW. Kept going till I got to extra zone, hi-loed the MS red which then went for a flat £70

Had another flat £70 from a red MS yesterday.

Put my £5 in the machine. Very first spin got a 2. Held all. Respinner, held the 2 in and it span me in 3 winning lines. Skill stop DOND entry. A few spins later the cash stack is up to £70. Nice. Bit later I get white MS. Land on a phone and hi-lo it to get GATW. Eventually land on extra zone and get the MS red.

Having had the £70 so early on I was hoping all that extra effort would have got me a bit more than £70. Was making it GATW a mistake as per what bowie said? Still, can't complain for £1

Oh, and my favourite bit? "Cash or Bust will be Jackpot".
