Arse-stabbing?

DONDs are in 80% of pubs around here now, hardly anything else really... :(

You're not the only one.
:x

God only knows how much Bell Fruit paid for the licence, they seem determined to get their moneys worth anyway...

I expect they would be. Seeing as it is a somewhat entertaining feature,( :!: JG can hack here if I have said something controversial :!: )
But did I hear correctly when Barcrest had bought the lisence? If so, they are not only going to get as much moneys worth as possible, but they will also be making as many machines as possible before the lisence runs out.

I suppose it is fair to say that the Bellfruit DOND features are more entertaining, as the Barcrest ones seem to block at the board block instead of being unpredictable. But, that's just my own opinion.

I doubt that Bell Fruit have left them anything to be honest... can't imagine any new ideas on a worn out theme.
Expect some serious barrel scraping...

Same thing, different company.
Pepsi/Coca Cola
Dairy Milk/Galaxy/Nestle

Maybe it will work out like that. Though people do have their favourites. I myself am more a Barcrest person.
Then again if Bellfruit have worn out their license completely, Barcrest are screwed. Unless they just release DONDs of their current machines, which as I recall aren't too much. We still need an Its Amazing type of machine with Noel plastered on it. Rob da Bank and clones have already been hit by Red Alert.

Why can't they give up on DOND and make machines based on decent shows such as Banzai etc?

No mass market appeal.

For some reason the great British public just can't get enough of Tidybeard and his pointless, question free, skill free, talent free "Gameshow".

Haha, that reminded me of Live at the Apollo last night, where Mr Macintyre did his impression of watching Deal or No Deal on 30x Fast Forward. If only I had meself a Sky box!

If you did decide to burn them, in a few months' time you'll probably wish you hadn't.

I dooooooon't believe it! I don't know the emptier to which you refer, also Hall of Fame has gone from Lakeside bowl....my favourite machine, I love my HOFs.

Michael Macintyre was pure class last night, definitely funnier than when he first cropped up on the mainstream comedy circuit. I think *30 is about the right speed to watch DOND, if you have to watch it that is, guilty pleasures, guilty pleasures, can't get enough of those floral shirts.

There's that, and the Impressions Show on BBC which had the fantastic "NOEL EDMONDS HOUSE OF BLOUSES!!!" sketch

"Theyre shirts, theyre shirts....!!!"
Nevermind, DONDs are hit N miss, but a Banzai machine would be the pinnacle!
Who watched Banzai in the past?
I have already designed 2 machines

The first is a 5 reeled Cat C machine, where a win on the reels gets you onto the cash ladder. Hilo gamble once to exchange to the board. On the board you can get:
+CASH-adds to cash stack
+BET POT-Adds to your bet pot
PLACE BETS NOW!!!!-Lets you place a bet on a BANZAI!!!minigame from the Bet pot. Can include anything!
Mr Banzai-Adds 1 Mr Banzai...Get 5 for the top feature
Mr CHEEKY CHAPPIE!-Get 3 for an extra life
LADY ONE QUESTION!-Get a hint on the alpha
MR SHAKE HANDS MAN-A cross between Spotted Dick bonus features and a Red's feature selector. Land on a right/left Shake Hands man for a feature offer. Gamble it and it's like on a Red. Get the opposite side Shake Hands man, and it's the same. Light both Shake Hands Men per side for a super featuer, Both sides on a RED feature are a MEGA FEATURE!
SKILL-Offers a skillstop on the 2 adjecent sides
But stay away from WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE!-Several outcomes such as MYSTERY FIZZ CAN or HAIR MOUSSE WAGER. If you get the booby can, YOU LOSE ALL!

Then there's the B3 BANZAI MACHINE!!!!
Contains 10 J Q K A, Mr Banzai, BANZAI, Cheeky Chappie, Shake Hands Man and WILD symbols
BONUS symbols are------
WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE: Play MYSTERY FIZZ CAN! Every unfizzed can reveales a cash prize. If you hit the fizz can, then you get COLLECT! If you get all 5 unfizzed cans, the cans are reset. 4 and 5 scatter wheels offer multipliers and bigger cash sums
TOAST TOSS FREE SPINS: 3 or more scatters activates this...You guess if the toast lands butter side up or down. If you guess correctly then you get the number of free spins hidden behind the toast. If you guess wrong, you collect your number of free spins and start the free spins bonus.
LADY ONE QUESTION: One Question, which one will you pick???Basic pick a win style feature like Wells on RR

PS: If you have not seen Banzai, you might get up to zero% of this post. Either laugh along, or watch Banzai on youtube and get an understanding...You might be hooked more than Katona on cocaine!
