Emptying Fruit Machines - Something not seen before
Welcome to the forum. Firstly we don't condone fraudsters in any way. Any talk of illegal methods is frowned upon.
However if you truely believe that there are no professional players out there who don't exploit either poorly programmed machines or tell tale signs that a machine is going to pay out then I believe you are very naive. Sure there are addicts who spend two quid on a drink and put another £100 or more into a machine and get frustrated by not winning, but there are guys on here who have been consistently winning for twenty years or more.
Your opinions and experiences are welcome.

What you people who spend so much time on these things do not necessarily realise or understand is that the machines are set to get your money. You cannot ever win. That is the first give away. If someone who I have never seen before comes in and just wins, they are up to something and I will not tolerate that.
Ok I can understand that you feel that way.
Secondly why spend so much time on a machine? If you want to gamble, go to a bookmakers or a casino. I run and own pubs to cater for a proper paying customer and expect my customers to respect that. The decent ones do, they may play for entertainment on a gambler but as a rule of thumb, anyone playing for more than ten to fifteen minutes is up to something and believe you me they are soon asked to leave.
Then why have machines on your premises at all? If somebody is on your machine for over 15 minutes, then surely they are filling up that machine. As you said above, the machines are set to get your money.
When someone or a group of someones walk in with caps, baggy jeans and casual youth clobber, I know they will soon be winning the jackpot.
Don't give me we put more in. I wasn't born yesterday.
Hang on, you are massively contradicting yourself here! Did you not mention above that the machines are set to get your money? That we cannot ever win? I'm sorry but you just do not not make any sense to me. You do not present a decent argument.

Nice post.
Sadly it falls down when you attribute words such as "robbing" to people who play the machines fairly and win. Those who use devices to empty machines are thieves, and deserve to be caught. Those who empty/make considerable profit on a machine due to poor programming, for example a code error where an instruction to the machine to readjust the % after a large win is not carried out, or another glitch, are taking advantage and nothing more. Nothing illegal is taking place.
Its as simple as that.

Thankyou for the welcome, you sound a decent enough chap. I apologise if I sounded narrow minded and unwelcoming. That is not an impression I would ever like to think of giving to genuine customers. Also I apologise if I've been a bit quick to speak out. I am sure there are genuine types who go on computers, so I want to make it clear these are not blanket assumptions that I make. However Harry, I have no truck with the term professional players, why dress it up to sound like skilled graft? You have two types of people who will play a gambler, customers and fraudsters. If people have been frauding for more than twenty years then I think our law enforcers have a lot to answer for, I don't let people fraud for twenty minutes in my pub. Like I say, I know the business, I've lived and breathed it for many years and I know a scammer, I'm not green.

Yes it is as simple as that. However, it was most certainly not a nice post by him/her. They completely contradict themselves. Makes me extremely angry to be honest how they think they know everything but in reality they know so little!

No, trust me, you are green. You are also very deluded and bitter.PLUnion wrote:Thankyou for the welcome, you sound a decent enough chap. I apologise if I sounded narrow minded and unwelcoming. Surely a wind up?
No doubt you would love all the details. I sense you wear baggy clothes Gary. Vale of Evesham is a close as you will be told and I see a Monopoly themed machine is here and I know there is a Big Ben machine in my wife's pub. I've not been over to the Hampton side recently and do not know or particularly care what is in there as long as the manager acts promptly to prevent scumbags scamming it.
logicpolitics I would love to see my contradictions. Machines make money off honest customers, honest customers do not play machines for hours on end trying to scam them, if you were in the pub trade you would recognise this!
