It is isn't really a quick end but very long goodbye. The pub where I first saw one, a Quizmaster around Nov 1985 has still got a Paragon. But it hasn't had one for the whole 30 years. I can think of a quite a few pubs though that were early adopters that have had them continuously until now.

Well they can't be any worse than Arsenal. They get a go at it every year and f**k up every time.

I would guess that Paragon's are encrypted. It's a bit late in the day if you have ideas of making money out of it anyway.

Yes that is the measure that the government could have taken that would have saved a lot of pubs that have now closed. The anti-gambling lobby would have gone mad though.

You don't need to speak to any employee to know you are going to lose in the long run. It tells you plainly on the help screen what the % return is: about 88-92% on reel games. So people can't say they are not warned.
