What an uneducated set of replies. The reason they are not fixed is they don't have to be, because the 2.7% takeout erodes your stake over time. The longer you play the harder it is to break even or win. Then when you are chasing losses you increase your stake. The odds on your number not coming in...

Fair comment, but the intention was to create more interaction with the player though. For example, a feature using a gun to shoot amounts that decrease in size, and increase in value... try to bring some kind of true skill into it??

I don't know, maybe i'm talking pish (again).

Return of the 'One Arm Bandit'

I don't know about you, but i'm bored with the conventional layout of the cabinets these days. Why don't the manu's stick a big silver arm with black knob onto the side of the machine, and make it a bit more enjoyable, just like when you went to the seaside and played 5p O-X-BAR for £1.00? Either th...

pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (a disease of particles in the lungs) is the longest word in the English dictionary, NOT antidisatablishmentarianism, as most people think.

Regradless, gone are the days of the fat guy in the black jacket with glasses on hitting Skill Cash on Cash Attraction (think that was the name) all the way to three bells for £2.40 yet again...

The gameplay you describe tells me that it's definately the old machine. In general, 20 winspins = £65-£84.80, 30 = £90-£121. Ah, the old boombastic, a friend indeed.

Check previous threads for this one mate, it's been spoken about before. The general consensus is if it is a new machine, leave it alone. If it's the older version, then play when both pots are full, and it is backing. Had j/p once from Cash stack, had full life, then systematically gave all numbers...

'the racing game is bent' - triggered a good one I remember. Tony Collins had 3 horses running on a Bank Holiday, one of them being at Cartmel. The bets went on, 3 doubles and a treble. Two of the horses were then pulled out, leaving the one horse to run at Cartmel. That meant that 2 of the doubles ...

2012... London

Bugger. London it is then. I wonder how much it will be publicised over the next week, bearing in mind that the G8 kicks off today.

FOBT - why its' not like _casino roulette

1. On more than one occasion, i've watched some city gents pile their money in, and walk away a few hundred down, only for me to nip on and turn £20 into £100 or so. Whether I was just lucky or not, who knows. 2. The old debate of what is a random number. Someone, somewhere must have wrote the progr...
