Of course it makes a difference. Especially if you are playing off your normal route and finding stuff you will go to again. If you make it seem like you are just in for the bandit then you wont get many hits unless you are in one of those rare pubs where nobody actually cares.

If you are bothered, you can ask the police to review cctv, I've had it done there and then putting the landlord in an awkward position when they called the police in the first place. I don't even entertain the thought that it would always work out like that but was a nice save at the time.

I have the Galaxy S, I prefer andriod to iOS, the battery life is average though but if you make sure to kill all running tasks after use it can be extended quite a bit.
