Couple of changes to paragon line-up

I came across a couple of Paragons today that had two additions:One was a new skill game called Birds (or possibly Birdz),something to do with quickly finding the same sort of bird in a line.Didn't bother playing it,that sort of thing isn't really my cup of tea.The other was that Robin Hood game - i...

Your observation is dead right, cool.Sorry, your observations are dead right lol.A couple of times I've came across pubs that I didn't know had a machine, found them raring to pay and even though I've attempted not to be greedy, the machines have still disappeared on my next visit.

Could be true, wires,I suppose. The 'coming out' in the newspapers might have been a way to get involved in the media world.Could also just be bullshitting you for some reason as you say.Fair play to him for the hours he must have put in to reach that standard. Also,he seems to have milked it quite suc...

I was thinking about that Christian Drummond guy today as I had a rare game of Colour of Money. At the time I decided that he simply did just want a more normal career and 'coming out' as it were would both explain the blank years on his CV and also be something of interest that may make him stand ou...

That's pretty impressive, you would think someone would have won by random guessing before it got that high.Unlike other games,I wouldn't say it gets any easier the more people lose on it though.Did you bother to win the fiver afterwards as well?

Yes,I've been noticing recently that a few pubs have replaced their Paragon with a Gamesnet too, which I'm quite happy to see.I discovered a Paragon with a glitch today - twice when getting close to winning on Beat the landlord,it crashed and went to 'No signal'.I'm not putting this down to anything ...

Quiz apps v quiz machines

I wasn't quite sure which thread to put this in as it might be relevant to a couple,so I started a new one.I saw yesterday, while watching The Chase in the gym, that there's an app out to play The Chase.I remember Nil Satis making the point somewhere that why would people pay to play the quizzy when t...

I had a classic 2015-style machine day today - visiting a smallish town that had 7 machines on my last visit roughly a year ago: (1) Gamesnet - switched off (2) Gamesnet - pub closed (3) Paragon - machine faulty (small error message bouncing around the screen) (4) Paragon - machine gone (5) KUDOS -...

I tried to play on a local iQuest last night, but it a pro was sat at it all night playing Pointless. Quite unusual to see someone hogging the machine all night, used to happen a fair bit in the 'old days'.Often there'd be an informal queue to get on the machine. Those were the days! Sigh.. In the pa...

there's a machine near me which has just appeared in the last month or so. Most times I've checked it out it's had "No Signal" box bobbing around the screen but last Tuesday I found it with the menu up and apparently working. So I start off on Pointless (£2.60) and after a couple of goes ...

The person who's behind this and who works for select is over on potty. Sure he'd appreciate the feed back on this from you guys. I'm always happy to give feedback on machines if asked (as I expect a few others are on here).I only played the two quiz games and the Word Up type of game so my feedbac...
