Every time I think of Megas when they were first about on 70/70/70 and I can't help but wonder "how the hell did that happen"?

The worst thing I find with the reflexes is the controlled way it eliminates boxes. It seems to always leave 6/8 at 4-box. This was taken to ridiculous levels on the triple copy where all 3 panels had 6/8 left at 4-box the first time i played one.

My nemesis is the £20 box.

But yeah, seeing the join just makes you think for fucks sake and removes any excitement from proceedings.

As far as an offer on DOND goes I did once get offered £20.01 on Red Hot with a £20/£24ish CP finish.

And a lot of places have signs saying "NEW £70 JACKPOT" above them. Quite apart from that being a load of bollocks it's not too hard to imagine a sign saying "NEW HIGHER PAYOUTS".

There's no reason a machine can't exist that gives pros an edge but also gives punters some enjoyment. It's just finding that balance which on a £70 JP is hard to do. There are current examples out there that I think do it reasonably well, and then you've got the obvious extreme examples such as unc...
