The best part about Pure Gold is when the symbol drops in on the last reel and Noel goes 'Yesssss!' as if they recorded that sound effect whilst he was sat in an electric chair

Don't mind Golden Game but they're certainly not a machine I'm going to tackle an hour before closing (unless I can get back for doors the next day). Did see one once with the £15, £25 and £50 Gold Phone bulbs gone which was fun! I do seem to get an above ob amount of GATWs on these though. Think I'...

Every Nobles I walk into these days seems to have a minimum of 7 £100 777s since Astra took over...tells you a lot about how much they must be raking it in. I'll let Elvis off to be honest as I've not had a horror story on it yet...but WTF at that new Monopoly game...DING DING DING aha! 1 Wild Pick ...

Play the most popular game in the UK...MONEY MAD MARTIANS X 1000 is Quicksilvers!

I got asked to remove my phone from the payout tray of a Gamestec digital in a Spoons the other night!

The biggest surprise here is an upgrade kit exists for Quids In America!

Presumably would only do a maximum of £150 rather than £200 like the new QPS ones making it completely pointless of course!

I made 4-5k on them. Others lost a lot. They were a risk but no more so than say Pure Pots.

I did about 15 - Only one terminal at a time but I did all four in a couple of branches simply because I knew they would not last long at all!

My best was £330 in one shop for £2050 out!

Be warned Turbo can take £250 or so to land that particular gamble even if offering Deal after just a few quid in!

I spent over 3 hours on one the other day and it is a machine I will never play again. BORING!

When I went to a few services just before Christmas they had a hell of a lot of the William Hill style FOBT machines just without the roulette etc on (Manufactured by Inspired Gaming I think?). Then a machine to insert your ticket for cash. Useful for pound coin changing but FOBTs were clearly not d...

Every Wetherspoons is basically a carbon copy of each other these days. Surprisingly of the 15 or so near me only 2 or 3 have been upgraded so far. The problem is on machines such as Golden Game is the pots have been reset and will struggle to reach the 100 especially when they reset to the same £5 ...

I found a couple of 'decent' ones today and I jinxed myself after posting yesterday as I put a single £20 in the first one for POT POT POT! No prizes for guessing which one of course :( Still a painless £40 raise! The second one sums up the opposite ends of the scales on these, £450 plus recycled pi...

I made £0.40 on one the other week! Was £340 in virtually down to £0 (Had a few bronze along the way) then I ate some pie to bring my bank back up to £340, very tempted to walk but pushed on, ended up getting the 4 pots for Silver which at that point meant I had £340.40 in the bank! Annoyingly Gold ...

My favourite machine in terms of fairness is Deal Or No Deal East And West Wing. No fancy rip or empty (Apart from the short period a year or two back which was quickly fixed anyway), and not the greatest money earner in the world but just a decent session. I do agree unless it is offering the phone...

Also off the top of my head... Was invited to stop playing a machine in a Spoons by the bouncers as the manager had contacted them and told them he needed to switch all the machines off due to them all having a fault. I ignored them as my machine was playing fine (Believe it or not it was only a DON...

I once went to an arcade and played a TIOLI, went to collect and it started chucking out coins before alarming with a strange tamper error. The staff member working there turned it off and back on again but the same error came up before the bank was displayed so to be honest I didn't have an idea of...
