Yes i agree with AAA, more then likely the PSU, our arcade gets through loads of PSU's on bell fruits, is it a stadium power supply?

if its a back door opening machine then i doubt very much the volume will be accesible via the refill keys, theres usually a sound knob on the main board?? Um... plenty of rear openers had volume control via the refill menu... Has someone pissed on you while you was sleeping? lose the attitude! Yes...

clear the ram the PROPER way as shown in the manual by the DIL switches, shorting the battery on astras doesnt always clear the lot

barcrest 5's can be changed to any game, in the centre of the board, you have an extra board that clips out, in there you have EPROMS, if you look on the EPROMS you will see the game name usually stuck onto them, Game roms and sound roms - these can be changed

you are looking for a square about 5mm square usually, normally a blacky colour, when you turned that yellow wheel and the coins went out, as there going out it will pass this square and counts the coins - its an OPTO Sensor, if its drity it thinks there is a coin stuck on it as it cant count anymor...

If you have a multimeter then simply do a continouty test on the wire, put one probe on the plug thats plugged into the board, and the other probe at the switch end and see if you get a reading, if not then you either have a broken wire and because its an oldish machine i would imagine it is, OR if ...

the 'f' error is in every case ive dealt with down to the I/O driver boards for the flourescent tubes, as these crappy little boards are driven from the main MPU - always the same, disconnect the power plug from these 4 boards and i bet it works

Lol wot a tit! what were saying is people by machine on EBAY, if your not familiar with EBAY it is an AUCTION! which means once yav bought it you have to buy it. And thats wat people are doing, bidding on machines which are fuked, buying them then coming on here asking for help.
