I heard a Wicked Whisper last night that this game will be canned. Apparently the makers didn't get round to checking with the programme as to whether creating such a thing might be OK...

"I did meet a lad from Hull once who was absolutely red hot on "Inquisitor" and someone at Gatwick Airport who threatened to kill me if I didn't leave "his" machines alone." That's very interesting Tonkarentino: I'd heard the Gatwick Airport story from somebody who knew...

DELIQUESCE pleased me the other day. Well done GW: it's win/win for you on the prize scheme – suckers like me will still play for 25 minutes for a magnificent £1 loss.

Last time I was in New Zealand (2004) there were standalone Millionaire machines around. I'm back there in November and I live in hope.

Dear makers of Classic Hangman...

If you're going to make a not especially interesting game and offer risible prizes most of the way up the winplan, please actually credit the top prize when I win it. Twice now I've been told I've won a majestic £5 – twice I've found nothing in my credits afterwards. This is happening on Gamesnets (...

That does sound interesting Nil, though technically I'm not sure it's an innovation: The Little Shop of Wonders, or whatever it's called, has versions with a "play 250 credits then best score wins prize" format. Is the idea that you put in your mobile number upon hitting a high score? I'll...

I have great sympathy for you Paragoon. It must surely be the case that only the very best pros are making decent returns at the moment. I can think of several periods when I felt I could have done very nicely by turning pro – this is emphatically not one of them, but this time it really feels like ...

Emailed Tournament Arcade on Friday, was given an automated message saying they'd reply within 24 hours. No reply as yet. The 'screwed' possibility seems the most likely at this point. Unimpressive.
