I'm loving this at the moment, although there are a distinct lack of cabinets carrying it in Glasgow. Comfortably my most profitable game since early DOND and Triple Towers. Think the most I've got from one box is £6, with total winnings around £9, although the machine has told me I've picked the £2...

Bump.

I can't really recall why I stopped visiting this site, possibly due to my graduation and subsequent full-time job, I just wasn't playing as much.

Needless to say I'm loving the screengrab above!

Firstly, the picture on the first post didn't display the first time I posted, I get what you were saying now. Secondly, Tore Andre Flo played 80 times for Rangers, and also has 76 caps for his country - you going to tell me he was a great player too?? You can't make honey out of dog shite. Aye, 40...

Referring to you Avatar? If that's the case, you mean Tony Vidmar, ex Rangers player? He was shite. His seven medals and 130 appearances under three different managers suggests otherwise. As do his 70-odd caps for Australia. I do wish the ITBox Soccer bods would fix that apostrophe though. It's 'Ra...

Questions that made you laugh?

There's a few that stuck in my mind: Which of these was a children's TV presenter? A: Andi Peters B: Peter Andre C: Paul Gadd What does Dumbo do at the end of the Disney film of the same name? A: He flies B: He dies C: He takes out an AK-47 and wastes a bunch of people. I also notice the amount of W...

I was in Spain years ago and came across a Trivial Pursuit standalone that was purely football questions. Brilliant, and looking back that probably kick-started my interest in quiz machines.

I've been in it many moons ago and it was a hellhole.

I understand it has been taken over but remains much the same. Lauders is about as 'rough' as I go in pursuit of quiz machine glory.

Why did 'the industry' screw up Prize Triple Towers on the ITBox and replace it with the skill-void Prize Pyramids?

I don't think even the Argyll can be as terrifying as Dow's on karaoke night, or Yates' just about any night. After a few hours of celebration on Helicopter Sunday we headed into O'Neills on Sauchiehall Street, which had only been showing the Celtic game that day. In amongst the tipped over tables, ...

I'm liking this one, purely due to the fact I won a £2 spot prize on my first go. Managed to get to the end game once, but spoilers kicked in. How do you win cash on the end game? I had a few hotels but not sure how, if at all, that converts to cold hard cash.

I'm 'Vid' or 'RFC' and I'm usually sitting just behind you. I take it you are well up on your 'Watford Legends' and 'Barnsley Heroes' then? W...

Well this was attempted today. 24 machines in 7.5 hours. £36 in winnings at the end of the day. Main games were DOND and ITBox Soccer, with some small wins from Pub Quiz and Every Loser Wins. Continually scoring highly, but no cash in sight. We used to be able to clear £40 from 6 machines, but those...

Glasgow MegaCrawl®

My pal and I are embarking on a Glasgow MegaCrawl® in the very near future, in which we plan to visit over 20 pubs and play near 30 machines.

So what's the longest crawl you have done in pursuit of quiz-based glory, and how much did you win?
