Has anybody noticed how gamestec shamelessly reset games periodically.I believe the resetting affects the playability not just the high score but perhaps that just me Some games are more difficult after a reset, others have easy free money. It has always been so. I never usually bother with Monopol...

If there are more than five genuine pros left in the whole country, I would be amazed. By "genuine" I mean to exclude those guys who scrape a living as they are not really capable of doing anything else, and those like me for whom machines are not our primary source of income. If a pro is...

Not sure what disinformation I have posted; gaming duty and council bylaws are pretty easy to find out about. As for machines, I think youd have to be pretty optimistic not to have noticed them disappearing from chain pubs, bowling alleys, busy independents etc , leaving aside those that go when scr...

Justcurious, you are not correct. You dont understand the mathematics behind fobts and this is why you dont understand that individual spins on fobts powered by pseudo random number generators dont have to be fixed for the game to hit target long term. I suggest learning about the law of large numbe...

The situation is pretty dire up north. I reckon about half the machines in the big cities have vanished. And bear in mind that there were only ever more quiz machines in Scotland because most councils limit the number of fruit machines to 3 in any pub (2 in edinburgh). Under the new regs quiz machin...

I used to like playing them and still do if I can find one with interesting games i.e Gamesnet. The rest are pretty boring and unfair.

I cant really see how a shabby awp conversion is going to make any more money than the shabby swp from which it was converted. Plus there is so much competition in the fruit machine market and pub goers still prefer to play analogues. They should just let quiz machines and their manufacturers die pe...

Tax on quiz machines

It's going to be announced in the budget that any quiz machine which pays out £8 or more in prizes will be liable to the same duty as fruit machInes under the new system which replaces duty for individual machines. Currently quiz machines can be put anywhere without a licence. Final nail in the coff...

Killing Gamesnets in Edinburgh

I have never got the feeling there were any real players in Scotland's "capital". And I assume we have all 'skewed' a game here and there but today was the first time I actually managed to skew the entire front screen of a Gamesnet. Ridiculously easy tbh and kind of made up for the fact th...
