Dungeon Dosh

I've not seen this game mentioned too many times on here but it seems to have been around for donkeys years (albeit on obscure machines). I like the game format - since it almost completely revolves around making words from a rack of letters with just a few "bonus" tiles to help out - and ...

I agree Chaz. The rule seems to be if its 90 to 98 tiles you'll get the £1 corner screen. If its 99 tiles you'll get the terrible screen (50p in the corners). If its 80-89 you'll get the £2 corner screen + 30 secs. If its < 80 tiles you'll get the £2 corner screen + 40secs. Doesn't seem to matter wh...

Nice surprise on a gamesnet

Last night I was playing on a gamesnet machine....not doing too well - a couple of quid down. Suddenly the game of monopoly I was playing began to really struggle...an incredible amount of slowdown which actually made the "Go game" very difficult. Eventually the game just froze and I got t...

Yes - The side chute is definitely more reliable. The coins seem to be ejected at higher velocity from the side chute than the centre chute. Sometimes the force at which the coins come out of the centre chute is pathetically laughable! My fingers aren't too long so I can't rely on this method to rec...

What's the point of this game now? 90% of machines are at 99 - those who can clear it recycle their quid, everyone else puts in a quid, loses and never plays it again. I reckon most machines have paid out more in prizes than they have taken in stakes... I agree - most of the new machines I play on ...

Itbox payout reliability

Is it just my imagination or are Itboxes becoming more reliable in actually paying out the right amount of cash? Just over a year ago I can remember just about every Itbox I played on would underpay my measly £3 wins!! I'd hear the noise but not see the money. Now it seems that most of them do actua...

2 years ago I broke my index finger playing cricket.
It is now peculiarly shaped and I found it a hindrance to my machining.

Fortunately, I trained my middle finger to take its place.

1) I find I waste most of my time dragging the tiles onto the board - especially when the screen is a bit dodgy - are there any techniques to minimise this time loss...eg. is it better to go for longer words or lots of 2 and 3 letter words? I may have misunderstood you here, but you don't have to &...

I find myself falling consistently short of getting to the cash game (anything less than 75 tiles is achieveable for me), which has prompted me to review my game. I have a couple of questions: 1) I find I waste most of my time dragging the tiles onto the board - especially when the screen is a bit d...
