Thanks for the reply, i have narrowed it down to a dead notey! there is 12v coming from the mpu5 but nothing on the notey! Damn!

Hi, Dont touch the bank of 8 switches mate on both the game card and mpu5 board, you have now got it to pay less using the percentage key, just keep in mind that if this is a home machine and you keep putting back in what it pays out then it will always pay to try keep up its percentage, if you are ...

A board with 4 switches??? take a look at the main board, its the first thing you see when you open up the front of machine and look straight ahead, lots of cables attached to it, on the face will be the game card and it will say stakes/prizes and next to it will be the percentage, what you might be...

PSU can buzz and humm due to components but does not always mean faulty, switch mode PSU for example can be noisy, in your case if you are pushing down on which i assume is the outer casing of the psu and it stops then just secure it down

Hi,

Would need more information on type of machine, could be a faulty PSU due to the noise, are you sure the PSU is making the noise? sometimes people mistake a noisy psu when actually its the reel motors, could also be a faulty Board, obviously power is not getting somewhere.

I am sure this is a Red gaming Machine using MPU5, open up the machine and look straight ahead, you should see the MPU5 board with a game board fitted to it, if you look on the game board you should see where it says stakes/prizes and the other percentage, is there any key fitted to the percentage? ...

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, yes the game sounds still come through but the noise is still heard over the sounds, i have heard this on other machines but no where near this level of noise.

Hi guys, Has anyone came across a problem before where there is a really loud electrical noise coming through the fruit machine speaker? i know when the cabinet is open you can hear the PSU which is noisy but when the machine closes you cant hear it, but then the speaker kicks in and its awful! now ...
