I am not convinced it had a machine all the way through the end of the 90s / start of the 2000s, although it did definitely did have one by around 2003. Are there many machines left in Oxford centre?

I have just calculated the chance of 7 reds as being 0.0064 i.e. if you ran 1000 lots of 7 spins you would get 7 reds 6 times on average. Not exactly 1 in 23 million

So obviously I have gone out bobbing and due to the shortage of word soup have been playing the fruitier. Just had a short payout of £12. And the landlord paid it from the till. Almost unbelievable but credit to him and the pub.
