I very nearly bid on one of these a few days ago but i just didn't have a way to collect it, the auction ended at £50... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAYGAY-SCREEN-PLAY-FRUIT-MACHINE_W0QQitemZ320282026453QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320282026453&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A13&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l...

£1000 is nothing for these, if anything it does prove the randomness. I once put over 2.5k between a spin n win and a high roller without a win over £100, but the week before i won just short of £1,500 from my first tenner on the machines next to them! I now rarely play these, if anything i'll just ...

There's a lot of machines in the local services with the £5 stickers on but when you stick a note it only £2 is transferred, maybe they realised it was a bad idea so changed the settings :?

Kai - Yes i'd be up for a meet, i work from home so can get into town pretty much anytime! Harry - Unfortunately it's only £5 JP but still good for a profit! The first day it came in it gave the reds within a fiver for £58! It nearly always goes £40+. ma71lda - I used to always go the Orange house i...

2000-2004 I don't think I ever payed for a night out thanks to Wigan, and we're talking Thurs, Fri and Saturday nights too. :P The arcade opposite GAME used to be good but I haven't been for a good 6 months (has it still got the VIU and the HiLo Watha style Royle, Fruiter?). Back in the day there w...

Just the usual garbage to be honest, of the 30 or so machines we played last week 25 must have been DOND's, there are a few goldminers (+clones), PCB 2's, Here & Nows etc... There was one unchipped p5 but i'd say that's long gone now after i gave away the location on here last month. As i said i...

I'm from Wigan, but i wouldn't call myself much of a 'player' nowadays. Whats about that way? In the town centre there's 3 decent arcades, about 10/12 pubs all with 2-4 machines and as far as i'm aware there's not many (if any) pro's around. I always key and rarely find empty machines, nearly all i...

must be few players there There are some but not as many as there were a couple of years back... We did a pub route last thursday night, 30+ machines in 10 pubs and i never saw anyone else playing. The arcades used to be packed too, now they're just full of oldies on the lo-techs and compulsives on...

Back onto Bullion Bars, how old is the arcade? Is there any possibility that it's unchipped?

That was a great empty in it's day :D

No, it's a different kinda machine (although still £5 multi-player lo-tech), the streaks are gained like on the classic red hot rolls, get 3x mixed in view for upto a fiver, 3x blues is usually £5-10 and 3x reds can be anything from £5-£29 plus a good change of a hold.

This is the one we have, it is disgraceful the amount that can go through. I have seen some big amounts, but not £140!! Was it £5 j/p mate? yer is was a £5'er A mate of mine took a red streak for £29 which held and gave another £29, followed by a holding JP. So in total he took £68 from no more tha...

I'm not a big fan of these kind of machines on £5 JP, in the local arcade we have a 3 player Big Top (Only in america style machine) one of the regulars put £140 through it before she got the first red steak which went for a whopping £9 :|
