Thanks for the reply. When I empty the hopper the mechanism still makes a sound trying to empty and Then says short buy x amount. I don't think the machine is being reset to zero - unless I'm missing something really easy. Also when I dump the hopper and try to refill say the 20p's itasks for 20x 46...

I think i am a little bit clearer on the hopper dump/refill. However i wouldnt mind help with the speaker buzzing constantly. I have Barcrest Go for Gold (MPU5 i think).

I need to reset the counters to zero/ factory default.

Any ideas please !!!

I have seen a few posts on various sites for people trying to find a manual for Barcrest MPU5 machines.

I did find a sticker on the wires going into the black box at the back and did say MPU5.

(only problem now is i found a pdf for MPU4 on the internet so will have to try and find one for MPU5 now)

This may be straight forward but, i have just purchased Go For Gold Barcrest machine (poss not that relevant as maybe standard for all machines) and it has a buzzing noise from the speaker. The connection can be removed but then no sound 'shock'. Any ideas for a fix?

Any help please?
