I suspect he means when in the test routines, and not simply when turning the machine on with all doors closed.

Not familiar with your particular machine, but I suspect it's capable of being set to a jackpot of £500, even if it needs to be fitted with different e.proms ~ if set to this larget jackpot, then a larger float will be required and the 2nd hopper will come into play. I think you're worrying without ...

The hopper that doesn't have any coins in it looks like a £1 hopper bed. When playing the machine, try winning £1.60 and see what happens. Most Club machines round the figure up to the nearest £1, so it will actually pay out £2. If so, then you can assume they are both £1 hoppers.

I can't see too clearly, but it looks to me that the white connectors are for an NV4, but am not certail at all about the black connector ~ it could be a JCM or a Luminar. I presume the other end of the loom is already plugges in ~ have you plugges it into the main board or the hopper driver board? ...

It can take either the NV4 or the JCM, but personally, I'd go for the NV4. However, as you appear to have a loom fitted alredy, I suppose you're restricted to whichever your loom will fit, as the NV4 and JCM have fittings. Suggest you post a close up photo of your loom fitting ~ single row of pins i...

Am I right in assuming that you have 2 different hoppers ? Or is there a hopper for the £1 coins and a small tube for the 20p ? Have you tried dumping the float ?

Once you have a NV10 ~ and you 'll need the mounting bezel too, and a loom, you may need some more assistance in getting the machine to recognise it, which is done with a BNV code, which should be explained in your manual, but an NV10 is by far and away the best for your machine.

Also, if you want it set on just 10p stake, you will NOT be able to have it set on a jackpot of £250, so you will need to adjust that too, or else the machine will alarm with invalid setting. I think the highest jackpot you can have with a 10p stake is £100. You will obviously need to swap over your...

No, you do not need a stake key on the £250 PCB, you just need to set the Dil switches accordingly. There is usually a sticker in the cabinet telling you how they need to be set up for each jackpot & stake.

Yes, the oval thing at the front is simply unbolted from behind and replaced with a note acceptor mount, which will vary depending upon which note acceptor you intend fitting. Behind the note acceptor then goes a chute, which takes the money to the note vault ~ posh name more a metal box with a lock...

Glad to know my memory is still working ok. It is indeed an MPU5 based machine. The MPU5 is easily replaced, but be sure to take out the game card held in the middle of it, and to pop it into your new MPU5. However, if you wait a while, someone else here may be able to give you more advice concernin...

Most stuff can be changed, if only we know what it is you're after. Monty Python, if my memory serves me right, is an MPU5 based machine. Perhaps loading up some photos of what you think you need may be a good start.

If you want your coin mech to accept any coins that are different to what it's currently taking, then the coin mech will need to be re-programmed, as will the 10s of 1,000s of coin mechs up and down the country, costing the industry millions when it's already in difficult times. The same thing appli...
