Do you have a hopper based machine, or a tube based machine, as the 2 are completely different?

Try changing the 50p to 25p a spin. I really don't think a club machine of that era can be set to 50p a spin, despite what you have said. The industry always tried to anticipate gaming legislation, but didn't always get it right. They thought for years that the £250 limit would be increased to £500 ...

Send me a pm with a picture of your reel, and give me your e-mail address. I'll then e-mail you a picture back of the reels in the workshop, but please be patient, as I'm not back there till monday.

If it were my machine, I'd first of all check that the routing plug is correctly fitted to the mech. If that appears to be ok, then I'd be looking at changing the mech itself for a known good one. Make sure that the routing plug from your machine is transferred to the new mech. If you're lucky, tagg...

The re-setting is almost certainly the PSU and needs to be replaced. As for the traingular reel, I might have one or 2 of these in the workshop, but will need more details of yours to be certain. You will need to change the bands though. As for the note acceptor, you'd be better off with a NV10 and ...

Seems to me that the coins are not being routed correctly, which would suggest either the routing plug on the coin mech, or the mech itself in the first instance.
With regards to where the loom connects to the CPU, can you just confirm that it's an MPU5 that we're talking about here?

2 thoughts spring to mind, the first of which is ~ why worry about it ? ~ put the £86 back in and let the machine find its' own float level, whatever that may be ~ it's what they're designed to do ~ it'll just take a little longer for any £1 coins to drop to the bottom cash boxes. It's not as though...

Not sure I understand your question.
What Jackpot is the machine set to ?
Is there a note acceptor fitted?
Have you tried dumping the hopper?
If so, how many £1 coins did the hopper dump?

Hopper dump is one thing, but you seem to be talking of tubes. Suggest you try the test routines, in particular, coins out test, which should pulse the solenoids on one tube at a time, witheach push of a button.

Could be that you're not getting power to the mech to make it work. Do any LEDs illuminate on the side of it when the machine is powered up. It could always be that you've swapped a dud mech for another dud.

Have just tried sending you another pm, but if you fail to get it, please pm me and we can discuss further. I have an NV4 and the mounting bezel for it. I've also got the oval metal mounting bracket, which replaces the Maygay plate on the front of your machine, to which the note acceptor fits. I als...

There's another 8 switches on the othe bank, mounted in the extreme corner of the MPU5 ~ you may need to move a reel out of the way so that you can see it properly.

No, you do not need a stake key on the £250 PCB, you just need to set the Dil switches accordingly. There's usually a sticker in the cabinet telling you how they need to be set up for each stake. Also, if you want it set on just 10p stake, you will NOT be able to have it set on a jackpot of £250, so...
