Unless you are a card counter, which is impossible to do these days.
And why is that? In casinos that use an automated shoe fair enough. But many use a manual shoe.

Cheers. I suspected that's how it would work but thought I'd check. I only thought of it when I saw someone stupid enough (random group of lads on a night out) to no deal on that same configuration :)

Forcing question

I'm aware of the general idea of forcing a machine, I think. Basically don't take any prizes and gamble all the way to a jackpot. But how does a machine register a game when you could win with 100% certainty but chose to not do so. eg, on a standard game you might have £35 on the cash stack and deci...

What does Wild Streak do on Rob Da Bank? It had the only mention of the word streak I could see on the machine so took it. I then missed holding the wild and won 50p for my troubles :/

Had another flat £70 from a red MS yesterday. Put my £5 in the machine. Very first spin got a 2. Held all. Respinner, held the 2 in and it span me in 3 winning lines. Skill stop DOND entry. A few spins later the cash stack is up to £70. Nice. Bit later I get white MS. Land on a phone and hi-lo it to...

There was another part to this too that i'm not sure was mentioned in the summary. About a month ago he put a staking thread up for a trip to Las Vegas. I can't remember the exact amount but I think he secured something in the region of $7000 to play various poker events. He had absolutely no intent...

Wow, i'm impressed that this has made it all the way on to here. I'm a regular poster on blonde, being a recreational poker player myself. Thankfully I had nothing invested. I've had staking from blatch myself and he always came across as a great guy - guess that's how he managed to pull this one of...

Had a similar scenario last night. Took a shot at the top row, skill stopped it onto a white MS. Carried on around the board. Got my third phone for a GATW. Kept going till I got to extra zone, hi-loed the MS red which then went for a flat £70 :(

Was playing on LP last night and got myself a GATW. took my top row shots and had 2 left: Jackpot (red) and MS (white). I decided to take the MS which gave me a flat £70. Should I have taken the red jackpot instead? Also, it occured to me after I could have maybe carried on around the board to try a...

[quote="Matt Vinyl"]Here's the likely differences between Barcrest and BFM: BFM: -High board costs -Usually 'All or Nothing' boards (£3 or top) -DOND game rarely opens unless lively -DOND game values 'appear' random (on most, the newer ones appear slightly less so, but that's open to debat...

Just realised I've not posted in here. I post occasionally on the SWP forum but am getting a bit bored of them lately. Have enjoyed playing some AWPs recently and have enjoyed learning about them and how they work. I only play them recreationally (phd student) so no need to worry about me taking all...

GATW Question

Not sure if anyone has tried this but is it possible to kill yourself whilst invincible? Had my first of these the other day on LPDOND and i just kept hi/loing the shots so i could hit the mega streak. This worked, but I did wonder what'd happen if i kept going lower to force a 1 and then tried pres...

I played Day 1a of this.

Busted in the 300/600-50 level, sigh.

The standard of play on day 1a seemed v poor to me.
