New mpu5 arrived today and sorted the problem

On closer inspection the mpu is burnt and smells it too. The circuit board on the top is black. Just ordered a new one off the bay for 12 pound so should hopefully do the trick

Got a feeling it came from the power unit. The machine is fine on demo mode but when re-boots on normal mode just goes to that error. I don't have a unit to test but is it worth buying one?

Got a " No 24v drive error Alarm 24/58" with my machine. The machine smelt of burning when I opened it and the green 24v LED light is off but all others are on

At the moment yes as lowest club jp is 75 with a 5p stake so is 5 more allowed in a pub buy if 100 is allowed then this must go surely as its max stake and max prize is what the licenses are run at.
