Having a little jolly to the south coast this week, I noticed a familiar name on a machine with some impressive high scores. Given how sensitive the filter is on rude words on that game, I was surprised it let that one through as well... yep, went to visit my goddaughter and squeezed in a few pints...

oh George, you are a scream. i happily stake a fiver on online SWP (where the rake is 25%) but would baulk at some of the $35 games i've seen which are vulnerable to home-programmer cheating. also remember when Word Up offered £20 for clearing the grid, this was in the days when machines were proper...

wow 3-letter words, are they really setting the bar that low these days?

in other news, i met with VBOB the other day and he told me that he'd found a unit last month from which he took the WS jackpot (maximum prize) of a tenner.

rocking horse shit all round fellas.

Topical, referencing lola and cerys is deliciously witty, i enjoyed that very much.

and i'm sure that Nil Satis will ascribe malice as and when appropriate.

MOTD seems to have been updated (apologies if i am way behind). it has new skill games, one of which is too challenging for my mate. but the production values are good. every cloud etc. PMP still cheats on the bonus round.

afaik Wolf is still active, met him a couple of times. no idea about Jackal but Hyena is all over the place. so what is it with animal nicknames?
i think i'd identify with something deeply unpleasant like a tapeworm, or eamonn holmes.
