assuming its prob cc talk i would use a JCM reader a lot depends if u have any mounting brackets already fitted,other readers ie nv4,7,,8 etc will also fit

unless its a jcm then its the last 6 digits of serial number...a bit more info needed here i think

remove battery,clean damage,if board ok it will boot without battery then just replace battery for a replacment mpu if needed see me!!
