I am hoping someone would be able to give me some more advise on my 17-83 opt blocked...'Tamper' alarm problem I'm still having. The fruitmachine is a 'Revolution' which is running Genesis / MPU5 board. I have stripped the 'compact' hopper right back and did my best to clear out as much dirt as poss...

Thanks for that, I will have a go at cleaning the sensor + run a payout test and see what happens. I'm guess I will need to dismantle the hopper to reach the sensor?

If this fails is it easy enough to get hold of a new hopper mech?

I have a Barcrest 'Revolution' which keeps sounding Alarm code (83 -17) pnd opto blocked. I have checked that there are no loose connections and also taken apart the payout hoper to check for any blockage- it all seems clear. Is there any way I can test the sensor? Any help would be much appreciated J
