So, Mr Lugsy - an assistant manager in Minehead? That would make you an employee of either Mr Kravis or of whoever owns Merlins now? Are you Pete? If not, I see he's still in K's. Lots of memories there, lots of memories. I remember Olympia before Marcus took it over. Right near to Jonny Welch's Kwi...

Had a look at your site but have to say I don't trust it. What's in it for them?

Two melons would pay "melon meter" anything from 20p to £2.00 jackpot plus repeat chance. No, must be a different machine. Definitely no melon meter on the one I played. Any 2 symbols on reels 1 & 2 paid 4p and 3 melons was £1.50, paid in 10p pieces. There were two payout holes, one f...

That sounds about right!

I remember now it had up and down nudges. Also remember watching someone get 4p instead of jackpot by nudging the melons onto the first two reels. D'oh!

The first machine I clearly remember playing was a 2p play, £1.50 Jackpot for 3 melons. It had silver sparkly reels and a double/nothing gamble. Gave up to 10 nudges. That was back in the early 90s and it looked a fairly old machine even then. Around the same time I remember playing a 2p blast-a-ban...

Gibraltar is a very common registration location for UK gambling companies. I can also walk into a Ladbrokes-owned shop and withdraw my money on every other street I walk down. As for your estimate that The traffic at absolute was probably bigger than the three names u mentioned all put together you...

Re: Two other points

My first point is to JakeyC you are saying that companies to not allow others to see hole cards quickly type in ABSOLUTE POKER into google youll get some quit enlightening news. I stand corrected... said the man in the orthopaedic shoes. Whilst I'm shocked that they tried it, I'm equally unshocked ...

Are there any gambling games out there that someone hasn't accused of being 'fixed' yet? Fixing online player-to-player poker is absurd. The house has their rake regardless of who wins, no more no less. Let's assume that a few players do indeed have magic card-reading software. For them to use it lo...

You missed out the word free.
Any genuine answers? Don't tell me it's 100 'play' spins, surely?

Am I a bastard?

Contextually speaking, of course... Was playing a Gold Rush in the local venue and put about £20 through before getting a £70 red gold rush and £14 from a bit of afterplay. Rewarded myself with a drink from the bar, and wandered back over to the fruities to try my luck on a DOND. Meanwhile a semi-ch...

Don't know if people mean geographic or type of location, but I've taken to the local bingo hall as a great place to play. Cons: You're in a bingo hall by yourself Pros: Full of OAPs and females who couldn't force a cat, let alone a fruity - Percentages set higher, 80-90%+ - Every so often, everyone...

Not in person, but I've played online poker at the same table as Steve Davis, Helen 'Hells Bells' Chamberlain and Michaela Tabb on separate occasions. Don't know if she was pissed or just friendly, but I got chatting to Michaela and ended up with her email address and a promise of first-round ticket...

Good to know I'm not the only one who feels strongly about it. With mobile and internet content slowly becoming more used, it will be impossible to police within years if not already. Hell, the BBC have even launched thier own iPlayer software to let you watch everything for free, albeit a little la...
