The fruit machine effects are the jackpot (£2) sounds from any of several Barcrests from about 1983 (Hyper Viper, Nudges Unlimited, Exchanges Unlimited)...

Think about £16 is my best - I've never had any decent luck with £2 cards, and I don't think I'd have the balls to spend £5 on one!!

Exactly the same in the Hollywood Bowl up here at one point - 2 WIYBs next to each other (plus a £5 one in the kids area).

I understand why it can be annoying, but if I'm being honest I quite enjoy watching people on machines. I work behind a bar and will sometimes stop and see how they're getting on if I'm out collecting glasses. I usually just say 'is it doing much mate?' or something similar, and I'll happily tell th...

I'd love one - I looked into them as I thought they might be pretty cheap insurance - they only have a 600cc engine!!

Nope - for a nineteen year old, £6000 per year to insure!!!

Saw a Texaco round here the other day....diesel at 128.9p!! Wouldn't be surprised if it's at 130p by now...absolutely shocking. Petrol seems to be over the 110p mark everywhere round here now. I started driving 13 months ago in a petrol and it was around 84p back then - it's gone up 30p in a year! L...

:D oh this would be so easy....................................... Tip number 1 : don't even bother - put your money in the IT box instead. Tip Number 2 : Nope sorry that's it, anything else I said would cost you money and you'd look back in a year or two's time and blame us for everything. Forgive...

Played it for the first time yesterday, albeit only for a couple of hours. Pretty disappointed to be honest. Unless it's just me, there seems to be less 'to do' unless youre actually doing one of the missions. In previous games you could amuse yourself for hours killing random people, robbing an amb...

Yeah it is if you don't know what you're doing. The thing is, in the past people might have been able to throw their £2.50 change in the machine and have a bit of entertainment with the chance they might win a little bit of money, or even hit it lucky and get the jackpot. Now it seems theres little ...
