Brewis's main job

Since when has scouring and buffing jizz-encrusted kitchenware been socially productive?

Interesting points there cool. I found your post especially intriguing as I have been out of the picture machine-wise for some time, partly but not exclusively because the last quiz machine in my village was taken away last year and replaced with a pot plant. I have to admit on the rare occasions I ...

Gripping stuff - glad I'm not a landlord though.

And how did the story end? I'm assuming something must have happened by now.

I once persuaded Kevin Ashman to play WWTBAM on my 50p.

It was being evil, but the great man still managed to get to £4.

Lyric is a pile of pap. As is Worditz, another new Gamesnet title. And Word Soup is like Word Up - "Same Name New Game" they declare - except if you don't clear the board you won't win any money as the £1 is too far along the points scale. I'm reluctant to post at the moment because I'm de...

Forgive my ignorance but I can't seem to interpret this thread.

Is there a new quiz game on those machines in Ladbrokes bookie shops? If so I might be interested. What's all this about virtual money?

That'll be because Buckaroo varies the number of incorrect answers on offer between 1 and 3 (a la Bullseye). I bet the other incorrect answers for the question include something like 'tricky' and 'difficult'. If they were going to use this system they should not have allowed odd-one-out questions. QT

I am finding Deal or no Deal a guaranteed loser at the moment. Last time I played I won 10p. My 'cash machine' is Bullseye. 50p in, £1 out ad infinitum. Tried to play a quiz machine in Berkshire recently and the landlord told me it wasn't taking my coins because it was "full". Imagine that...

Because if you're seeking them out it's because you think you can make money out of them. This is incresingly unlikely when you consider the dirty tricks employed by games like Blockbusters 2 (recurring 'free games' as prizes) and Wank Off the Gibbon (as I think it's now called) where you have to kn...

A man who knows the game. I wonder if Matt has ever brought himself on to swing a few down from the Gresham Road End at Fenner's?

It depends on the bowler. If Shane Warne is coming in I would expect the slip to be just as close as the silly mid-on. But you are right, on average a 'silly' would be much closer than a slip. I don't think the position is ever known simply as a 'silly' however, but as a silly mid-off or -on. Dodgy ...

So Nil Satis has been to Reading.

That buggers up my afternoon quiz plans - the machines will all be empty!

Choke the Chicken could work. The variables would be angle, ferocity and balance. A question would be asked after each choke to advance up the prize ladder. When you finally reach the top you have to answer the jackpot question known as the Money Shot. http://www.zymetrical.com/images/products/rubbe...
