Fruit Machine Chat

So, I took the epoch board out, inspected underneath , under the battery seemed pretty corroded. I scraped some dirt off, put it back in, and it's been running for about 1 hour.
Maybe the battery is causing this problem..
Thoughts?

Very quiet alarm sound from front speaker
The hold buttons make the reels move very slightly
Any ideas?
