OK-have spoken to a nice bloke who told me that its either a fault with the power supply or the mpu board-Could check the mpu by taking it to an arcade engineer if I can find one willing to check it- Its apparently an Epoch mpu-tho it doesnt seem to match any of the ones I have found online-appears ...

Ive got a Global games gold rush and am having issues powering it up

when supplied with power the light works on the power box (located in the lower cabinet) and one green light comes on on the left hand side of the mpu board inside the upper cabinet, but there is no other reaction.

Any help??

Have sorted it out with a liberal bit of WD40 and a bit jiggling round doi,

Looks like the mechanism itself had seized making the switch jam-Gonna give it all a once over

Hi, I have had this machine for appx an hour (2nd hand) I am trying to open the upper cabinet as I suspect I have blown a fuse (?) but think that the locking mechanism has seized on the left hand side- the right hand catch is releasing fine with the key and switch combo- Any advice? :confused: Anyon...
