Yeah I know the ones you mean. I've never been in but they looked promising whenever I've driven past. The Wetherspoons a mile or so out the centre has a gamesnet and there's at least one in the Kirkstall road cinema/ entertainment park. I know of 3 Paragons in the centre as well if you need locati...

are there still enough machines around for you guys? I was in Leeds recently and I saw no more than 7 in the city centre including a shitty Open and the only quiz machine in any of the wetherspoons was jammed behind a table which was in constant use all day.If that's what Leeds is like I imagine it...

Ah muddle that got phased out years ago....think it was the last time the game got updated (2012). The bonus moves at a reasonable speed now and I can confirm the beermats stay on the screen!

Remember the Crystal Maze SWP, with the £5 jackpot that got progressively easier the more it was played - but the end game would not let you have it if it wasn't ready (through use of too many silver / not enough gold mechanism)? It is available for play now (30th October entry at the following lin...

Quite like the who wants to win a tenner game....with a bit of practice winning a quid should be a reasonable realistic occurrence (certainly on a par if not more likely than attempting to do it on Pub Quiz). Be interested if occasiningly it has an easier version...you get this with PMP every so oft...

To my mind, the one thing a quiz machine can offer, that is both suitable from its context and not usurped by better technology, is social play. By this I include 3-4 people drinking, and collectively having a go at the quiz. Maybe a different aspect of social play may be networked Jackpots, but I ...

Yes that would be interesting to read Sloach if you were able to cut and paste from where you read it.I see that he says in the article that they would like to increase the stake to £2 and the jackpot to £150.Now he's probably talking about the fruities here, but I think the quizzy games should all ...

Funnily enough I was in a seafront Arcade yesterday and straight off won PMP tenner. Hadn't realised a bloke who worked there was clocking me over my shoulder. When I won he said "Have you've won there?" and looked annoyed. So I ignored him as I normally do with my headphones in. Then he ...

How much were you planning to win out of interest? In Spoons it's never a problem due to the large number of ASBO population present in those pubs so someone winning a few quid isn't an issue. Sometimes I don't even get a drink lol...tut tut. I do get an uneasy feeling when I walk into a small pub w...

It's only a quid.... Blimey when I win about 2 quid out of a 12 quid jackpot that has an I.O.U screen message I just walk out of the pub swearing under my breath vowing not to return for a year! And when I eventually return the machine has predictably gone. What would you do if that happened....writ...

Ha at the time I was playing PMP quite regularly so yes did go into a bit of a panic when it disappeared off the old update so emailed the guy and in fairness what he said was true. I remember at the time I was also playing MOTD 2 if people remember that (basically the same as PMP but football hangm...

I've been visiting a few scream pubs lately (student bars located close to the University campus) and pretty much all of them have at least one quiz machine and even on occasions (don't collapse in shock please) two just like the good old days in many Wetherspoons. One in Derby called the Friary has...

Pints was last changed in November 2011. I emailed the head guy at Games warehouse to ask where it had gone and he said it was being updated for new categories. It returned in May 2012 I think so yes long overdue a change although even with the new updates it dosen't always come back into the line u...

Another little thing that happened to me today so back to this thread I go.... This little disclaimer that seems to have been inserted to protect against big wins. As I've mentioned before I've played Pints make Prizes for last 5 years so pretty good at it....and I also think it's a popular game for...

That only happens on PMP when it really has been bled dry and has nothing left to pay out. I actually think when Muddle makes the point of games where it's reasonably easy for the punter to think he can win and so keep playing pints is a good example. It isn't that difficult to win a quid a couple o...
