Blimey going out on Sunday, that's dedication on the Pro gambler's day of rest. I was actually going to ask the question of what people do on the rare occasions you bring a mate along? I have a few people I know who know what I do and find it amusing although it's alwaysa rare event to get them to c...

Love PMP...can still make a decent amount on it if it's in a position to payout. I do wonder about its long term future though as I'm not convinced Paragons will be around that much longer given their increasing unreliability. Why did the game get taken off Gamesnet a while back? Maybe it will find ...

Might be the same as PMP as on some Paragons that disappears either for eternity or for a few months if you win just a little too much on them.

The annoying one is when you're actually playing a quizzer and there's a big screen to the side of you so you're effectively blocking the line of vision for people sitting and watching the match which could cause an issue or two. I was playing in Brum Walkabout a few months back when I think Man. Ci...

Nah went a couple of weeks back and both 'Spoons still have Paragons although one of them has been moved upstairs so that probably tricked you Nil.

Played plenty of Gamesnets over the last 3 years and usually in my experienced anything up to 40 quid....(Yes I know but it dosen't happen anymore with the latest update!) is usually fine as regards collecting pay out. Usually far more reliable than Paragons which become dodgy at anything approachin...

Properpro makes a pertinent observation when he states that machines don't last forever, without any new hardware the decline will continue. That was why I was encouraged by the appearance (though admittedly not in great numbers) of Pub Connect, simply it was something new.I don't know why it doesn't ...

Ah Solihull is on my patch....yes it's still got a few machines floating about in the centre in so much as the two 'spoons in the centre still have machines. You never know where they'll pop up though...for example a few months back I stumbled across two of them back to back in a Hollywood Bowl woul...

Jules wrote:8.2 is out of date and will only show a few basic games until you update to 9.0. This is a compulsory update which is why you have been cut short. The update is free at gwhl's website.
Any decent new offerings when the update occurs Jules?

Ok,here's my considered take on this.By 'considered' I probably mean overly influenced by having had quite a bad day with machines either being off,not accepting coins,or the screen not working properly, but here goes: In 2010,I was doing fine and from what I could tell, despite there being a dodgy e...

Anyone been to Crewe station. I pass through it from time to time from my once a month visits to the North west and change trains there. The cafe/waiting room on one of the platforms has a machine that is on and has game selections but has had the card can't detect reader message on for what must've...

Completely agree Nil (good result yesterday chap!), was playing a Paragon today, won 7 quid on Pints so went to collect. After a couple of go's attempting to press the collect button and nothing happened, eventually the fault screen and S.O.S for engineer message came up so left it at that. Another ...

Good god was in the Cardiff area today and finally saw for the first time the doomsday Paragon scenario....8 games, Pints, Beat the Landlord, Battleships (I think) and several other games I never play. Pub Quiz wasn't on there which was completely baffling to me unless they're updating it as that al...

B and D for me. The new Gamesnet menu is a case in point - NEW! Brainteser! - shit game that's really OLD AND NOT NEW AT ALL and impossible NEW! The Crystal Maze! - OLD game. Enjoyable to spend 50p but impossible to win NEW! ...can't remember what else they're claiming as NEW! but is actually OLD! ...
