Hi Euro

So you have no worries about the software if its just for you. thats easy then, £1 =1 euro hopper 10p hopper - 10 cent hopper, just need to reprogram the coin mech and check hopper discs.

Hi all

Isn't gaming machines illegal in France, i remember they used to get around this by vending bubble gums lol, not sure about now. Iv just never heard of anyone selling into France, so I'm guessing its for home or is it for a back street ;-) lol

what are you going to use it for, yourself or on a site with real people.
Its best if you get a machine with the hopper u. as its easy, but im sure any hopper machine would be easy to sort, just not sure how the software would work.

Hi All depends on the hoppers, lol if its a newish machine.
If you choose a machine with azkoyen hopper u hoppers, they payout a range of size coins so you wont need to change hopper discs.

I'm guessing, its a none note reader software machine, they would then send you a note reader and loom and software all for a tidy amount. I think it will be a parallel note reader machine as the board is old, I'm note sure how you can tell sorry. Id be surprised if it has the right software and is ...

also, if its and idc connector on the reels (IE you push the wires into the metal pins) it may be an idea to pull each wire out trim and refit, like eurobuskers said its old and brittle, you wont see a brake in the wires but trust me it happens and is a right pain

Does the machine have the right software to run the note reader, do you know if its a serial loom (how many wires) as this might stop you, unless you get the right software.

Yes i agree it could be anywhere from the board to the bulbs, id follow it back from the bulbs back to the cpu, see if all the lights that are off have any common, ie same wire, follow back to patch board then check for dry joints or bad crimps, then back to cpu, again dry joints or bad crimps, mpu4...

Hi

I think it may be the mpu4, how many lights are now not working, 8 or 16 as it could be a strobe line.
