Maybe it was £30
It was nearly 25 years ago!

The tubes held up to £90 pound coins.

Smedley's Club Machine Association site was going before then. Also UKFMP http://www.boards2go.com/boards/board.cgi?&user=ukfmp&page=1 and maybe Superarcadia.com Good to see a bit of life in the board and some retro players still around. Can't beat the £4.80 jackpots IMHO. harry Remember ve...

I last paid for an emptier in 1992 by the way! There was no Internet. It was for Ace machines and financed my university degree. Well worth it!

Was joking about paying now!

Yes that is the measure that the government could have taken that would have saved a lot of pubs that have now closed. The anti-gambling lobby would have gone mad though. And rightly so. I don't want my pub turning into Aussie style bars where people get drunk and fight because they've they've lost...

Yeah They can and do. The thing was dead as a dodo though so I never expected it. I should know better but I was so bored I thought I'd push £50 through it to see if I could get it phoning but it wouldn't even play the super game let alone deal. Paid all in coins apart from the two tenners I'd put ...

Time to stop playing?

I've played fruits since I was about 10 years old while watching my dad play cricket. Over the last 35 years I've seen AWP jackpots go from £2 to £3, £4, £4.80, £6, £8, £10, £15, £25, £35, £70 and now £100. I financed my uni degree emptying £4.80 and £6 Ace machines at £90 a time where the numbers o...

Multi-game cabinets - multi percentage?

Just wondering what the deal is with those video cabinets that hold half a dozen DONDs. Do the games all have separate percentages or if you win JP on one will that affect the others?

So given this machine is so reticent to give phones can you assume it's got value in it when it does?

Some of the other ones like Midas Touch or Queen that deal constantly for £9 are a bit pointless.

I played two of these today in central London which is usually a bad idea. First one took about £15 then offered deal or no deal for a £25 box and I walked away. Second took £10 off me and second board went Go All The Way so I pushed it to mega streak. When it went past £100 I thought I was going to...

Put a few quid through this at lunchtime and found it to be a truly appalling machine. On double DOND I was left with £1 or £5 on one side and £5 or Cashpot at £96.80 on the other, so the box was obviously £5, but the best offer was £9.50!!! Sounds like another machine specifically for random punter...

I've always found Golden Game to be a reliable machine as it's quite progressive, going from bottom board to top board to deal. Once phoning it's usually not too far from offering cashpot or jackpot. An old one just turned up in my pub and I've had only good experiences on it. Last night paid £120 f...
