that error code (54/2 means no 24volts to hopper.

have a look around the hopper area, make sure it is connected properly, is it an azcoyn hopper?
have a sniff see if the burning smell comes from there...

you should try sowpping out the power supply, ifit doesnt help, then board.

u said you could smaell burning, have a sniff around the inside of machine, see if you can locate which component the smell is coming from...

error 7.1 is dataport error,
the machine is trying to communicate with a datapack/ data capture device.

you must have data protocol software on the machine.


you will need to switch to standard protocol programs or find a datapack. (data pack option may give you problems in the future though)

can u post a picture of the coinmech? also the new one, only thing you can try is swopping out the power supply if its deap, strange though, they dont go faulty that often...

if you open the door, turn refil key and press hopper top up switch, the machine will thinks its full and put coins in cashbox.

alternativly if the mech has a routing plug in it, if you remove it it will put all coins in cashbox..

yes, the eeproms can be a right pain to change over, they use two types of IC base , if you have the one with the round connectors, god help you lol.

the machine that is not going into demo, does the machine think the doors are open or closed?

i remember the machine... yes you can swop the parts about.. : just remember if you are swopping the cpu board that you need to swop the program and sound IC's over... if i were you, i would steer clear of epoch machines and look for bellfruit/barcrest machines. you want either a scorp 4/5 brellfrui...

you have a problem with the hopper then ... firstly, make sure the payout connector is fitted correctly into the mpu5. if you pull the gamecard off, you will see a guide telling your which plug goes where, make sure the hopper payout plug is inserted correctly, if i remember rightly it is possible t...

error 2.3 is a problem with the 3rd reel.

have u maybe knocked th reel tab off?

it will be the meters, it doesn't really matter if they work or not
