Proposed to the mrs last night

And she said yes!

I've bungee jumped off some of the highest bridges in the world, but I shit you not, starting the 'proposal' speech was by far the most shit scared I've ever been in my entire life.

This happened to me to a much smaller extent in Edinburgh yesterday. Punter wanted £500 on a dog at 4/1 in what looked a tight race. The staff member phoned head office - whilst he did that I stuck a tenner on it with the other staff member. He got it on - won easy. Just a wee bit more proof to me t...

TNA is by far my new favourite.

Me and the Mrs were in Orlando last summer and went to one of the tapings. 100% free entry, $3 a beer. Was hammered by the second match and getting well into it.

£70 jp - will it backfire?

Played a £70 jp for the first time yesterday (Family Guy). Cost me £22 for a £3 board. Now as a just for fun kind of player (i.e. the kind of muppet who fills it up for you guys) I'm not inclined to play them again. I might have been unlucky paying £22 for a board (hopper was full by the way) but I ...

My local's paragon used to have an error where the screen would switch off as follows: Main menu - select a game - say Nuts Screen would go totally blank but IF the pub was quiet enough you could hear the sound effects playing. Option 1 - if you knew where the exit / return to menu area of the scree...

Oh, and anyone wanting to make an easy pound for themselves (albeit at the risk of losing £350) could do worse than laying Graeme Souness for the Celtic job. Given that the rumour mill in Glasgow is running overtime with news of a Parks / Souness consortium takeover of the Gers by the end of the ne...
