Re: england v. belarus

4/5 on england to win to nil, sky bet... quick whilst it's still there :) (bear in mind price for england is 1/6 or worse!) Did £325 (max for me) on that, and just as a saver £150 on 8/5 on both teams scoring (bet365)... Anything but a 0-0 or belarus win with england NOT scoring, is losing me fuck ...

I suppose it goes back to the argument of: You can practice, practice, practice all you want until you become 10/10 at something - some people are just that little bit better. All the pros practice - some more than Taylor - some less, but there's no doubting the fact that when the cameras are there ...

Henry Cecil once had a 1/10 shot at Windsor on a Monday eveing several years ago called Starlight Night. Eight lengths clear in the straight and he goes lame. Pulled up and hobbled over the line in third. I would lay 1/10 shots all day. Look how many lose in the tennis every tournament. Agreed - ho...

Rangers v Sevilla

Rangers - lay of the year.

Walter Smith will play for a draw and I think Sevilla will breakdown a Ranger's defence that's looked dodgy in the last few games.

Why I pay £40 to go see it is anybody's guess.

Yeah - forgive my poor statistics - but is it not the fact that (not entering the rigged v non rigged debate) you are paid 36/1 whereas in a 'fair' game you'd be paid 37/1?

Therefore in a truly random game house edge gives them 3% (ish)?

Was it not to advertise Channel 4's 'wealth of knowledge' or something? It was Tony Robinson from Time Team, the guy from C4 News, Gryff Rhys Jones and others.

They're going to get some answers wrong so as not to arouse suspicion but can't bring themselves to do it.

I * As far as I know, Eggheads is now going to be filmed in Glasgow so I suppose there is a possibility that they might move their auditions there as well] Yeah, with its new swanky headquarters in Glasgow, a lot more things are filmed there now. I'm almost certain all national lottery gameshows ar...

Virtual racing

Pretend horses, diddy dogs, whatever you want to call them. How are winners selected nowadays? I was originally lead to believe that its a lottery type machine with the favourite getting the most balls in the machine followed by the 2nd favourite etc, etc. But having watched about 15 of these races ...

Arsenal don't have to win ! No bet for me. Good luck if you do. Correct. But then its not a Livepool / Chelsea / Man Utd that they're playing. Celtic will come looking for the goals they need and the class of Arsenal - who'll want to ensure their CL spot with the least amount of pressure - will pic...

Gah, Goldenballs - I can't stand that show - I never thought I'd put Edmonds above anything, but in this instance, I certainly would have to - DOND is better! I'm surprised GB hasn't ended in a fight before because of all the blatently obvious 'I've not lied at all during this game, ever, e...

I've applied for Total Wipeout. Really don't know if I should've admitted that. But I've always wanted to go on national tv and stand at the top of a watery slope shouting something like "I'm going to rip all of your heads off" whilst looking embarrassed because the producers obviously tol...
